Gelu's E-series carbon saddles have a slightly wider nose than usual for maximum comfort even when riding in a forward position or on the lower handlebars. The central recess is designed so that no pressure is exerted on the prostate region.
If you only read the first part of the description, it sounds like any other saddle, but it's not what it seems!
The Gelu E1 weighs an incredible 65 grams thanks to its all-carbon fibre construction! Everything from the saddle frame to the top section is made from 100% prepreg carbon. To weigh less than 70 grams, the E1 has no extra padding or cover.
These features make the E series very sporty, but also versatile!
