Like a fine bespoke Italian suit, the WR Compositi Alpha frame-set is tailored down to the last detail and entirely Made in Italy.

The Alpha series Road frame is one of the most ambitious projects that WR Compositi has embarked on; drawing on 25 years of experience in the field of composite materials and frame-building and applying it to the design of the most exclusive, high-performance road frame in their product range.

The Alpha is designed and manufactured to meet the needs of the individual cyclist: frame geometry, carbon fibre weave, tube thickness, head-tube angle, stif720fness, rider weight, color and finish of the frame; the list of custom details goes on.

Every frame is designed specifically for you after receiving your bike measurements, indented use and cycling needs. Each made-to-measure carbon fibre frame-set is handcrafted with advanced composites engineering using a thermoset bonded tube construction.

A made-to-measure Alpha frame starts with the design and in-house manufacturing of each individual tube, carefully designed in accordance with your needs and requirements, guaranteeing optimal stiffness and durability of any part of the frame.

Once the appropriate tubes are manufactured and wrapped, the frame is thermoset, creating a seamless structure which achieves excellent strength and virtually eliminates any lateral flex.

The finish on each frame is also completely customisable.

The average weight of an Alpha frame is under 720g, a result obtained thanks to the careful use of high modulus T1000 carbon fibre and the precise construction method developed and constructed entirely in Italy.

The steerer tube is conical (1 ½ “- 1” -⅛) and is paired with a WR Compositi fork designed and built to adapt to the characteristics of the frame, ensuring stability at high speeds, precise cornering, and consistent road shock absorption, guaranteeing a secure, stable ride.

The asymmetric, tapered head tube offers the ideal configuration for achieving the best torsional stiffness while maintaining an optimal low weight.

The WR Compositi Alpha carbon fork has a tapered aerodynamic profile which contributes to the overall stiffness while remaining lightweight.

The frame is outfitted with aluminum reinforced carbon fibre dropouts and rear derailleur mount which are easily replaceable. The bottom bracket standard is BB-30, and can be mounted with crank-sets with 24-30mm spindles, used with either internal electronic or mechanical cable routing and allows for quick installation and easy bearing maintenance.

The characteristics of the Alpha frame make it particularly suitable for intensive and/or professional use.

Measurements, geometry and handling ideals are all customisable and can be adapted based on needs and use of each individual cyclist. The Alpha frame’s light weight makes it particularly suitable for long and challenging climbs.

The WR Compositi Alpha frame is exclusively made to order and average delivery time is 4 months. Standard sizes are also available.
